Note: a thorough intake and individualized treatment plan will not be performed or given during this discovery call.

Should I book an in-person or virtual initial visit?

I find that patients benefit the most through in-person visits, especially if the nature of your concern requires a physical exam. But if you'd prefer to see me from the comfort of your own home or don't live near the clinic, we can do a virtual visit as well. Feel free to reach out using the Let's Connect form above if you're unsure if you should book an in-person or virtual initial visit.

Is there anything I should do or prepare before the initial visit?

Once you've booked an appointment with me, an email will be sent from Jane, our online booking site and client portal, which will prompt you to create an account. Intake forms will also be sent out and must be filled electronically through Jane at least 48 hours before your initial visit. This allows me to better prepare for our visit together so I greatly appreciate you taking the time to fill it out! If you have any previous blood work or imaging results, you can also send them to me via e-mail or bring them with you to the visit. If you’re taking any medications or supplements, you can also bring them physically with you to the visit, write the name and brand down or take photos of them with your phone to show me.

What should I expect from my initial visit with you?

The initial visit is 90 minutes long and it allows me to perform a thorough intake, to better understand your health concerns and goals and to get a complete picture of other facets of health including diet, lifestyle, health habits, stress and reviewing all body systems. Further testing like lab work may be needed and will be discussed in the first visit, along with short term and long term treatment plans. Subsequent visits will be shorter ranging from 15 to 60 minutes depending on how much needs to be discussed during follow ups and may also include treatments like acupuncture, cupping or cold laser.

What if I can't make it to my appointment anymore?

I get that life happens sometimes! If you can't make your appointment, please text 416-707-4538, e-mail me or e-mail the clinic at least 48 hours in advance to your appointment time. This allows us to offer up your appointment time to other patients that are waiting to see me. If you haven't cancelled your appointment at least 48 hours in advance, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment fee.
