Hi there! I’m Dr. Beatrice.
I’m so glad you’re here.

I believe that we can do so much more to help women receive better healthcare, especially when it comes to menstrual concerns, hormonal issues and fertility.

I have a special interest in treating women’s health concerns in my practice because of my own personal experience with painful periods and realizing that many women in my life shared similar experiences.

Navigating alone on your health journey can be daunting and quite confusing, but through holistic care that focuses on the body, mind and soul and through empowering education, I can help you to better understand and know your flow, whether it be your period, digestion or managing your stress. Ultimately, my desire is to practice in line with this quote by Hippocrates: “Cure sometimes, treat often, comfort always.”

While I welcome any health concerns you may have, I especially love treating and supporting your:

  • Period Concerns e.g. painful periods, heavy periods, irregular periods, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS

  • Fertility & Preconception Care

  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Care

  • Hormonal Acne

  • Thyroid Conditions

  • Perimenopause/Menopause

  • Digestive Concerns e.g. gas, bloating, heartburn, indigestion, loose stools, constipation

  • Stress & Burnout

My Journey to Naturopathic Medicine
Growing up, my childhood dream was to become a veterinarian, which was why I chose to do my undergrad at the University of Guelph majoring in Zoology. In my first year, I took a nutrition elective for fun and loved how applicable the class was compared to all the theory I was learning in my biology and chemistry classes. In that same year, my grandpa passed away and that was the catalyst that sparked my interest in human health and ultimately made me switch from studying Zoology to Biomedical Sciences. It wasn't until my fourth year of undergrad during an alumni career fair that I stumbled upon naturopathic medicine. Everything about naturopathic medicine resonated with the way I wanted to practice medicine and after taking a year off after I graduated, I applied to study naturopathic medicine and the rest is history!

The Technical Stuff
Dr. Beatrice completed her 4-year naturopathic medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. In her fourth year, she interned at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Flemingdon Health Centre Naturopathic Clinic, where she saw and cared for many patients. Dr. Beatrice was also accepted onto the fertility focus shift, where she helped individuals who were trying to conceive, as well as managed many women's health concerns. Prior to studying naturopathic medicine, Dr. Beatrice went to the University of Guelph where she received her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Beatrice is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths Of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Beatrice enjoys going on walks in nature, curling up to read a good book, playing with her bunny, Honey, and spending time with her family, friends and church community.
